Cryo X Co is a deep-tech startup headquartered in Tempe, Arizona. Specializing in Passive Daytime Radiative Cooling (PDRC) materials, we develop and commercialize easy-to-apply coatings that lower outdoor surface temperatures by up to 15°F below air temperature. This is PDRC for the people.

Founded
Established to bring cutting-edge radiative cooling technology from research labs to real-world applications.
CryoSkin Launch (discontinued)
Launched a cooling vinyl film as the first consumer-facing radiative cooling product, earning attention as a pioneering solution for mobile device and vehicle surface cooling.
CryoPaint® R&D Begins
Began research and development on CryoPaint®, a sprayable PDRC coating for roofs, equipment, and structures. Winning concept in the 2023 Innovate Phoenix Challenge - a chilled drinking water fountain incorporating CryoSkin on its overhead shade.
CryoPaint® Commercial Launch
Launched the first commercial range of CryoPaint® in summer 2025, bringing direct-to-consumer passive daytime radiative cooling paint to market.

CryoTile™ Case
Prototype Concept
A magnetically mounted phone case prototype leveraging PDRC principles for active device cooling. Developed as a proof of concept, it never moved into full production.

A next-generation cooling paint that can be sprayed onto any outdoor surface to cool it up to 15 ℉ below the air temperature
CryoCan™
Under Development
A forthcoming spray-can version of CryoPaint currently under development. Designed for portable, on-the-go application via aerosol delivery.
